Indestructible

Common table salt
Can be broken up
Into sodium and chlorine,
The sodium exists
And the chlorine exists
And nothing is lost.

The beauty of a sunset, too,
Is broken up
Into a thousand
Constituent parts
That fade
And seem as nothing,
But that beauty exists
....somewhere....
And glows again,
Always and ever again,
....somewhere....
In a human soul.
